Type: Spherical roller bearings with two symmetrical rows of rollers inclined to the axis. Oscillating spherical outer ring allows self-alignment of up to 2-3°. Two inclined raceways on the inner ring, common spherical raceway on the outer ring.
Construction features: Double row of rollers that absorb radial and bidirectional axial loads simultaneously. Pressed steel cages (two window cages) reduce inertia and allow high speeds. Inner ring without shoulders with floating guide ring centred. Robust design with internal flanges.
Bore variants: Available with cylindrical bore (direct mounting) or 1:12 tapered bore (with withdrawal sleeve). Tapered bore preferred in high-load applications with large shafts.
Protection: Open versions without seals (standard design), with 2Z shields, or sealed 2RS. Annular groove and three lubrication holes on the outer ring make relubrication in service easier.
Radial clearance: Available in class C2 (reduced), CN (normal), C3, C4, C5 (increased). Selection depends on operating temperature and speed.
Lubrication: Relubricatable with grease. Require periodic maintenance due to exposure to the environment.
Specifications: Extremely high radial and axial load capacity, low friction, temperatures -30°C to +200°C, compensation for misalignment, resistance to extreme shocks and vibration.
Applications: Cement, steel, paper and mining industries, rolling mills, transmission systems, handling equipment, vibrating machinery, heavy fans, compressors, environments where misalignment is unavoidable.
