203XX series self-aligning barrel roller bearings are designed to provide high radial load capacity and the ability to absorb moderate axial loads in both directions, maintaining smooth movement even in the presence of slight misalignment between the shaft and the mounting seat.
These bearings consist of:
-
a row of barrel rollers that allows adaptation to angles of misalignment, promoting self-alignment;
-
inner and outer rings with a tapered/spherical raceway;
-
a sturdy cage retaining the rollers, often in steel or brass (depending on the variant).
These bearings are widely used in heavy industrial applications, such as gearboxes, machine supports, transmissions and winches, where mechanical strength, durability and reliability are required.
