Type: Self-aligning deep groove ball bearings with double row of balls. Two rows of balls housed in cylindrical raceways of the inner ring, outer ring with oscillating spherical raceway.
Self-alignment: Thanks to the spherical raceway of the outer ring, they compensate for angular shaft misalignment of up to 2-3 degrees without generating stress on the bearing.
Construction features: For the same outer diameter and bore as single-row bearings, they are slightly wider but offer considerably higher load capacity. Two reinforced polyamide cages (PA66 with glass fibre) keep the balls aligned.
Protection: Available open (without seals), with 2RS contact seals, or with 2Z protective shields. Sealed versions protect against contaminants and moisture.
Radial clearance: Available in class C2 (reduced), CN (normal standard), C3, C4, C5 (increased), selectable according to the application.
Lubrication: Require periodic lubrication with grease, except for variants with ceramic seals, which have special protection.
Specifications: High radial load capacity, low friction speed, temperatures -30°C to +80°C, preloaded versions for rigid applications.
Applications: Electric motors, transmissions, gearboxes, agricultural machinery, fans, pumps, plants where misalignment is unavoidable, systems with medium-to-high loads.
