The DuoTec is inserted through a small hole and sits perpendicular behind the panel, acting as an anchor for any threaded screw. The load capacity is considerably higher than traditional plasterboard wall plugs, with values from 17 to 75 kg depending on the material and thickness. The support base prevents damage to the surface.
